Excuse me!  “The curbs are currently delaying a good laptime.”

Drivers' comments

Judging by the submitted times I knew this would be a close qualifying & it was. Starting 8th I was a bit concerned about contact in T1 & despite being cautious I got bumped into the barriers by Yannick. Luckily I didn't lose a wheel but there was damage to the left rear which unsettled the car a little.

I was able to catch up due to Stefan's spin but then got tagged by Bastian trying to recover from his incident  (reko?). This damaged my right rear. This melee bunched a group of cars together & when Pedro ran a little wide I found myself on the inside of him & there was a gpl moment which punted Pedro off. I felt nothing, I just saw you off track in my mirrors. My apologies anyway Pedro.

The rest of the race was spent battling with Carlos, Yannick & Stefan. I spun all on my own at Bosch, hit the barriers (causing more damge) but managed to continue. Now I had a car that was understeering in right handers which made things tricky but I eventually caught up with Yannick & Carlos for a race to the flag. Somehow I got in front & made it to the line in 4th.

A good result considering my lack of pace & incidents.

Grats to the podium & finishers. Thanks to admins as ever
