Drivers' comments

such pace up front! i was pretty happy with my quali lap, only a couple of tenths off my pb, 8th on the grid :D

It's such a great track to drive, I wanted to enjoy the whole race, so being at the back was a good place to watch it unfold from.
Andi, Uli, Stefan & I had fun laps together, taking advantage of the others' mistakes to gain a position here or there.
It's so easy to twist the car slightly here, the slightest nudge of a barrier can do it & you're compromised, so finding myself at the front of our group I put my head down & ticked off some laps.
when I next checked, I was 2nd with 10laps to go!
where had everyone gone!? I remember seeing 1 firey car (it was Paul) but no other incidents.
shame for you guys. gpl can be so frustrating sometimes.

i don't feel derserving of 2nd but i'll take it. 26s off the winner, again, hmmm .... bloody aliens :p

great track, in my top 10 for sure. another inspired choice by the team

grats robert, stefan, finishers. thanks admins.

i wonder how the other grid race was ....

Quali was very exciting and simply superb for me with 4 PB's, and beating Steve Cloyd's T77 benchmark 4 times as well. I really love this street course, it's up there with the the best tracks among Bathurst and co., from my point of view. Erik put in a good lap tho, too good to beat in the Cooper, congrats! I was stoked being on the front row though ;)

After start did prefer to hold my line towards T1, and wide through it, and was (almost) alongside with Paul, but gave Paul a break. Didn't want to make a risky move there approaching the kink and I wasn't sure he was aware. Thus settled behind Erik and Paul, and it was fun first 10 laps. Piero and Yannick were close behind. For me it was just waiting for a mistake to pound on, since it's very hard to pass clean on merit with the T77 ;)

Then Erik went sideways at the outside in T1, and I could take a tight line avoiding the cars, while Paul had nowhere to go. Then Yannick also disappearred, and Piero. From then on managed the pace and tires, since they were on the edge first 10 laps (and I blew up in my last online race). Had a big gap to Roo, and cruised to the finish setting a few fast laps late race. Lucky win, but I take it, since they don't come easily in the Cooper (or BT7).

Well done Roo and Stefan, and finishers! Commiserations to Erik and Paul, and those suffering from freezes/disco's, and the other DNF's...
