Drivers' comments

Great track, especially for mods. I remember back in the day when it came out hardly anyone could run it with decent fps.

Quali was close to my T77 PB/WR, but I wasn't surprised to see Piero snatch Pole. Start on the outside proved difficult, as also Erik passed me on the inside.

Piero made a gap when Erik struggled a bit early race, but not enough for me to make a clean pass. Tried to apply more pressure, also when Paul was close behind in the catbird seat. On Lap 6 Erik went sideways out of 10, and I put the car inside at the Gulch. A very unlikely place to pass, but Erik was aware after his mistake that I was alongside, and had to concede. Piero already had a gap of more than 5s, but I tried to push and see if I could close the gap a bit. Even when Piero controlled the pace, I got within 4s a some point. But pushed too much and went off at 4 losing 3s. Still set fast lap after that, but in the final lap put a wheel in the grass out of 10 and went off again. Just had enough margin to bring the car home in second as Erik was close behind in third. :)

Enjoyed the first laps with Erik and Paul, even when it allowed Piero to break away. To be fair, Piero controlled the pace, and without my mistakes also would not have catched him. ;)

Well deserved win Piero, grande! Also well deserved podium for Erik, good job finishers. Commiserations to the DNFs.

I'm really glad, finally a nice victory.
I wanted especially to have a good race on a fantastic track where so many years ago my legend Gilles Villeneuve began to get noticed.
I didn't see the reply of the race and I don't know what happened, I just realized that Robert and Erik duelled and I concentrate in free track, taking a moderate pace I didn't think I could stand before all this time but I was a little more ready for race and the car was pretty good.
Congratulations to Robert and Erik and all survived thanks to the organizers and to all
See you soon

great track, great race. Nice to see a big field & Jani again.

Happy to get through the first lap without incident & had many tense laps with Pedro on my tail. Narrowly missed Stefan & Alain's coming together & eventually made a mistake allowing Pedro past.

Too many further small errors generally tonight, another of which let Roman past but I managed to take advantage of him running wide in T6 by hanging one round the outside of Charlton bend, covering him off into the hairpin.

On the last lap Roman got a run on me into the hairpin & I didn't leave enough room, we touched & I went off. But the racing was such fun, it really doesn't matter. Thanks Roman & Pedro :)

Grats podium, great pace up there. Thanks admins.
see you in Malaysia.

Ah, sorry Bastian, I was absolutely not aware of you. I trusted pribluda but watched the numbers behind only... You must have been listed 0 meter AHEAD of me... Sorry again.

Apart from this accident, it was a great race for me. Eighth in the finish - not expected.

It was good to be back on the track with the old fellows :))

Congrats and thanks all!
