Excuse me!  “I showed remarkable skill in keeping the car on the grey stuff, completing a 360 spin, dropping 3 gears and setting off again in the right direction without damage whilst still holding the 'phone.”

Drivers' comments

By this victory Alex got all the headlines on the News page. I can't recall who could do it previously :)

Jani Posta 09/03/2012 09:13:38

Yes I liked the PW tracks / races.

Congratulations Alex! and well done Mark.
It was a releave to see you two could have some slipstream fights.

Very sorry for creating that start crach with Mark :(
The tow I got was enormous and the speed was terrific!!
Easaly passing mark, only thing miss my breaking pointt and could hardly manage the corner,
Slowing down Mark passes me whle I was strugling the wheel :)
The rest is history.

Thanks for this season Jani.
I hop to see more of these.
Greetings Pedro

All kind of troubles here: (1) contact with the haybales and loss of front left wheel in the right hander after that high speed bump in lap one (2) stuck in the mud on the exit at the first hairpin in lap two (3) blown engine near to the end of the race...
I had a 3-4 laps long chase after Magnus and finally managed a scary overtaking manouver. The rest of the race was quite lonely, though it was great to drive the BRM after a long vacation from the British team.
Congrats to winner! And all podium finishers on their exceptional speed.

+ Sorry for the server restart in qualifying. GPL.exe just stopped running for some strange reason when I tried to save my (not enough fast) race setup...

++ Pre-War Series finally ended. In contrast to previous PW seasona it was a longer calendar. (Plus the two years break, lol.) I hope you liked these tracks, races.

Congratulations Alex - have no idea how you manage these very fast laptimes. I shall watch the replay and see if I can learn something.

Sorry it didn't work out this time James, I could see your name on the server for a brief moment but it disappeared again.

My race was slow but at least reasonably steady without crashes of either kind. The second chequered flag in two races, for some parts of the race I was even able to see Jani's car (way ahead in the distance AND he was in a BRM but still... it was visible), and (thanks to the 3-minute lap) I wasn't even lapped. :)

Dammit. Some kind of crash when loading this track. Tried reinstalling it, no luck.

James Andrew 08/30/2012 21:47:54

sorry guys, I'm just back from school introduction camp and broke as hell. So I won't race
