Mark Barresi won Watkins Glen race of Pre-War Series | Oct 30, 2014
Starting from position 2 on the grid, Mark Barresi's Cooper T77 crossed the line ahead of Robert Fleurke's Brabham BT11 to take the win. Andrew Livingston rounded out the top three in a Ferrari 512, while fastest race lap was set by Robert Fleurke also.

Sorry guys, but I gonna miss this one to!
Have fun :)
Thanks Roo, interesting :)
Will be there, prolly in BT11, maybe Honda...do need a win to keep the championship alive, however it's safe to say Roo deserves to win it this season ;)
Uncle Jack give me an old BT7 here, PB 1:11.1 with half race fuel.
Inside the car i find a grapple, who knows what will serve ...
I wouldn't say that Robert, its pretty even & anyone's title, imo.
can you guess my chassis choice?
Mark Barresi on the board? Let's check the WR! :D
LOL Jani, thx. Cooper for me here!
We might race without igor racelist again - watch out for server ip at race time!
I won't make it, gotta work very very very long today and will be home by midnight probably.
My aim - to get benchmark with the Cooper, and keep up with Mark Barresi :)
Edit: iGOR race-list is back up :)
Got disco'd at the end of qually for some reason. There was no racelist, and by the time it came back the race was on. :(
Double post. D'oh!
Pyrrhic victory for me - I got the benchmark, but with draft - my best non-draft lap was almost a tenth short. Guess I should have taken a Brabham :)
I mis-understood myself twice in qualifying - first, I let Alex by when he was drafting me in the BT7, once I saw a blue flag.. the next lap, my tyres were warm, and I realised I could have dragged him to a faster Q time.
Later on, I came out of the pits straight into Rob's T1 line, thinking I was pulling out behind him..
Lap 1, off at the loop on the outside line, but after that, I got the best result I could have. A shame to see you go off in front of me at the loop Jani, but your front left looked like it had had enough of Alex and I chasing hard!
Grats to Mark on WR and a great drive; the same for podium and finishers too. Unlucky Sid!
A little adjustement in my setup before the start, and my car become a bit more nervous, making me lose confidence in its behavior with two mistakes in early laps.
Not a good race for me here, i was hoping to mantain a better race pace.
See you at Spa.
Well, as Iestyn said. After I left the scene on the left it was a rather lonely race. I tried to drive a PB or at least a string of high 1:10s. Later I went off in sector 4 and got lapped by Mark, thereafter in the last laps by Robert too. A long race after a long day.
Congrats to Mark and all finishers! Bad luck Sid :(
Sorry to Roo who I punted off in the Esses. I waited but you prolly had some damage as well...was too greedy there and didn't hold the inside line...also sorry to Mark for denying him a close race ;)
Second half of the race ran consistent, but of course lost too much time letting Roo (and others) by. Had a couple of misjudgements, but also some nice racing still.
Great drive Mark, flawless, and also well done Andy, well deserved podium with a PB :)
Sorry to hear Sid :(
After a chassis pb in quali & an awesome first third of the race it ended up rather a disappointing race.
Not that I really had the pace to hold off Robert to the flag but I felt I could have given both Mark & Robert a run for their money. Thanks for waiting, Robert, but I should have reset immediately rather than hoping the car was still in one piece & continuing.
I had suspension damage which caused a spin at the esses & then it was a long fight back to catch the guys ahead, only managing to catch Alex's BT7 after 10+ laps which meant there weren't enough laps (or pace) to catch anyone else.
Grats to the podium & see you in the Ardennes.
