Robert Fleurke won Brands Hatch “Henry Surtees Memorial Race” race of Groundhog F2 season | Feb 12, 2015
Starting from position 1 on the grid, Robert Fleurke's Brabham BT23 crossed the line ahead of Carlos Cendejas's Brabham BT23 to take the win. Roo Mellor rounded out the top three in a Brabham BT23, while fastest race lap was set by Robert Fleurke also.
Three races left and the battle for the championship is heating up :)
Both BT14 and BT23 are available for this race.
Not sure I'll be there. Got a bit discouraged by poor results and tracks I do not like driving.
Maybe it's time to get back your self-confidence :)
Can't the f**king flagman drop his flag earlier?
It's a shame Iestyn wasn't present, but always fun racing this track, which is very challenging...
Towards the end started making a few mistakes pushing for fast laps, wasn't that far off the official BT23 WR...
Thanks for racing all, good job Carlos, always solid and consistent, and Roo :) Too bad for Jani's bad luck...
Every time i hear or see thru the mirror someone crash or get out of the track behind me, i always wonder if it was because of my fault. I hope that was not the case today. If so, my apologies to Yannick and everyone involve. I will be more careful next time. :(
Congrats to Robert and Roo and everyone who race today.
See you next race!! Greetings from México City. :)
I'm never very fast at Brands, there are so many tricky areas I can't get them all right on the same lap ;)
I was settling in for a good race after nearly missing & jumping the start when Yannick spun in front of me at South Bank & I had nowhere to go.
Looks from the replay that Yannick got caught out by Carlos braking or he simpy went too deep. Carlos does seem to warp quite a bit & he might have warped slightly into Yannick, difficut to tell.
I chased down the guys ahead, made many mistakes & was very lucky to take the last podium spot.
Grats Robert, awesome pace & Carlos - another solid race.
Again I have this problem with my steering wheel (sensing movement when there's no movement) and unplugged and re-plugged it during qual which made the force feedback settings horror. But at least there were no false signals for a few laps. Later the they came again and that ruined my race and I decided to retire. It's a shame as it would have been a fantastic battle with Roo and Sid...
Congrats to the winner! Another classy victory Robert :)
