Mark Barresi won Halle-Saale-Schleife race of Groundhog 1967 season | Apr 23, 2015
Starting from position 1 on the grid, Mark Barresi's Ferrari 312 crossed the line ahead of Alex Barresi's Lotus 49 to take the win. Iestyn Davies rounded out the top three in a Eagle T1G, while fastest race lap was set by Iestyn Davies also.
I remember when the track came out in 2002 or so, drove it with the Honda. But might take an other car now apart from BRM and Ferrari.
We are a bit in late with the car ...
Disappointed with my performance, didn't come even close to my PR in quali...
In the race made a lot of mistakes and did need a reset half race...
Great pace Mark and Alex, and nice fast lap by Iestyn! Good job Jani as well in the underpowered Cooper ;)
Thanks for racing ;)
A new PB on qual, but still desperately slow... Still it seemed I could have a good race with Robert but an early engine problem killed my chances... From lap 4 my aim was to finish on lead lap and improve my PB.
Congrats to Barresis! Thanks all for the race.
Was impossible to compete with brother, also with a marvellous Lotus 49, and i only tried to follow him in first part of the race to gain a gap over Iestyn.
Thanks to several little mistakes of Eagle driver, i can gain this good 2nd place: mission accomplished, see you next one.
is there a replay for a race starved addict ;)

Took Eagle here to see if I could challenge Mark :). Still having some problems here, so in the end I just decided to race with the paddle shift that it was giving me.
I guess it took me half of the race to fully dial in to the style, as after the two spins, you can see my pace suddenly picks up.
Without them, maybe I could have passed Alex and challenged Mark? I also had two 'perfect halves' of the last two fast laps, which when both combined, would have been a high 39... :(
Grats Barresis :)
