Robert Fleurke won Indianapolis MS race of Groundhog 1967 season | May 28, 2015
Starting from position 1 on the grid, Robert Fleurke's Lotus 49 crossed the line ahead of Alex Barresi's Ferrari 312 to take the win. Iestyn Davies rounded out the top three in a Eagle T1G, while fastest race lap was set by Robert Fleurke also.
Final round of the season.
Congrats Robert on your championship! :)
I will end the season as I started - Honda!
Thanks Jani :) Looks like I can't be overhauled anymore, it was a close fight with Alex who also like me completed all laps (so far).
Will try to end the season on a high challenging for the win at Indy with the Lotus. ;)
WOW Robert & Big Grats ;)
“Will try to end the season on a high challenging for the win at Indy with the Lotus. ;)“
...but Monaco, hehe ;)
I take Eagle...Indyyyyyeah ;)
I also do my congratulations to Robert for this Champ victory.
Sure it is the right version of Indy we should download? 1999?
Link from this page says Indy 1999 '2000'...but the latest version is Indy 1967 '2003' + there is a lot of updates.
We experienced problems with other versions, so decided to use “ims“.
How about a rolling start? Polesitter runs 100kmh/65mph on Lap 1 after start and we start either single or double file...
A standing start can catch ppl out here...
Rolling start is okay for me. Though we tried this once earlier and was not a real success :D
Full Indy500 coverage to get in the mood :)

My proposal for rolling start: slow start from a loose grid, completing first lap in 3rd gear, then raising speed in the backstraight in lap 2, and flat out from Turn 4 in single line. We can make it without any troubles, can't we? :)
“Turn 4 in single line.“
Great idea with rolling start...but 3 wide :)
Oops, forgot to say...there is a practice server in Vroc *60fps*
"Great idea with rolling start...but 3 wide :)"
NO WAY!! :D
I don't have a track installer but here's my track folder:
Unzip and copy to /tracks then add to season in GEM.
Was a bit boring when Iestyn spun, but happy to end the season on a high ;) Great pace by Alex in the Ferrari!
Thanks all for racing this season, and Jani for organizing!
Well done to Alex for being vice-champion and also completing all laps. In all honesty, if Iestyn would be well prepared and Mark attending all races, I would have stood no chance ;)
The Commendatore gave me a perfect car for a perfect quali and a perfect race.
The great amount of past days dedicated to ovals with Indianapolis 500 and Indycar Racing have given fruits, in last laps i had the feeling of becoming one piece with my car, i almost did not want to stop going in circles around this track despite a bit of tiredness.
See you next week in Sachsen.
My race graph tells it all. Maybe not the best car choice for me, but I survived without reset and that's half a victory :D
Congrats to the winner! Well done Alex in the Ferrari! Thanks all for coming.
Congratulations Robert! Well done for the Champ victory!
Grats Robert ;)
*I survived without reset*

Pelle, rules page is your best friend :)
Congrats Rob! You and Alex drove best this race. Near the end.. my tyres 'went off the cliff', hehe. Nice to get another time for Oval Rank!
