Roo Mellor won Tripoli “DirtGearPatch race” race of Pre-War Series | Mar 03, 2016
Starting from position 2 on the grid, Roo Mellor's Lotus 43 crossed the line ahead of Jani Posta's Lotus 43 to take the win. Olaf Lehmann rounded out the top three in a Eagle T1G (66), while fastest race lap was set by Roo Mellor also.
Just to clarify, only cars of 2.5 liter or lower?

BE sure you have Olaf's latest patch (version 7) installed and ticked in GEM.

Yes, it's pitstop7(dg) when you unpack the 7z file. News txt should start with “pitstop7 (February 2016)“.

No race password.
Just now I see there is a small diffence between the new version of the patch and what I have written in the readme.
If you repair the car at the pit the car will be refilled. Refill should only work in case of ShiftR, but I simply forgot to change a value.

Shame we were only 3. Tried to make a race of it by waiting after spins etc. Whilst trying to let Jani catch up I had a number of laps with Olaf until he started disappearing, so I overtook for safety reasons. Then lost touch with him too after he spun at T3 ... may have been due to me being super slow into that corner? Sorry if that was the case.

My reset changed my gear settings (affected 2nd or 3rd), and that was quite a big surprise in the race -- mainly in T1 :)
Still I could continue and looked to be fun, but in lap 2 I went off and some object removed my wheels. Another reset, and the crawling back to the pits, and the pitstop. My gears were still wrong but I managed to handle the problem and had a few good laps in the hope that Roo and Olaf would also face problems :) Later I had a spin in the last turn, but Olaf suffered a more serious accident, so I could retake 2nd place till the finish line.

No, Roo. Because we was only three my main concentration was: How works the patch (I couldn't try it online before) - so I was distracted in some situations (looking too much at pribluda displays). That was the main reason for my excursion.
In the last lap I was fell asleep. At Tripoli I have the problem at the long straights I forget where I've been. So I have lost my second place.
In 2008 we had a cup in EOLC with MOD66. All the years I wasn't in touch with that MOD and it was very unusual for me. I was not even what is the fastest car.
In my remembering the MOD was interesting and easier to drive as normal gpl. Now I find the MOD a little bit too unspectacular to drive - especially in combination with a track like Tripoli.
The dirt effect was marginally noticeable (to say something about wear the race was too short).
As I said in chat I think the patch needs minimum 10 drivers for really funny racing.
In 2013 and 2014 in EOLC we have driven a cup with the patch (with previous versions) and normal gpl. We was average nine drivers. Because in the last races to much drivers quitted the race if they had a crash I stopped the cup after 2014.
It was a pity. There was not less people from EOLC that join this cup (there was only 2...3 drivers more in the second EOLC cup at this time without patch with normal gpl INT mode). And it was some other interessents. I think the problem is to bring this drivers from other leagues to drive in a foreign league too. Therein I haven't had success. Gpl drivers are very loyally and trusty. I hope Jani have more fortune for this.
It's a pity. If we have had in 2014 only two or three drivers more I have dad continued the cup.
