Andrew Livingston won Zandvoort race of 1967 Div Amateur season | Apr 23, 2009
Starting from position 1 on the grid, Andrew Livingston's Ferrari 312 crossed the line ahead of Allan Davis's Eagle T1G to take the win. Richard Welsh rounded out the top three in a Lotus 49, while fastest race lap was set by Allan Davis also.
Magnus Rubensson I seem to be a really bad starter, at Zandvoort I'd lost two places in T1 to Rich and Natan, and then got caught up in Colm's spin at the end of lap 1. I chose the wrong side to pass. Picked up a few places again and got up to P5 just behind Natan. His tyres was shredding tons of rubber into the Cooper cockpit and this made the Cooper a lot heavier so I couldn't overtake. Grin Good racing with Adam and Natan for several laps, enjoyed that. Eventually finished in P5 and that was as good as it got.
Andrew Livingston First time here for ages and it felt good straight away. I had a good start for a change, but Adam followed closely for a while. When he went off I had a big lead but saw Allan on the leaderboard and soon he was 2nd. The gap kept on coming down and I dared not try to go faster. It looked like it was going to be an exciting finish, but he must have lost it somewhere and I was safe.
