Fifth out of eight is in my view fairly good.
On to the next two and hopefully one or two more additional. Going on a holiday on July 20th so the more the better :D
GT67 is always a little of a questionmark when it comes to picking a car, driving three of them usually, but went for the Mirage M1.
Off to the next hotlap where the cars barely can be more equal.

I can't recall if I ever drove a Chaparral. It was a bit strange with 3 gears only. Sadly I could not set a really best lap, I'm 2-3 tenths off according to pribluda.

Have uploaded my Porsche/Ferrari testing setups I did use last week. They have yet to be developed but I did set the times with it.

I'm mostly using default set ups.I've been driving Assetto Corsa for the past few months. I'm using a gamepad and been nowhere near the times on AC. I always read srmz every day and this thread came up. So I can't be too bad if I'm not last all the time. I was several seconds behind on AC.Is it ok if I get on your Rank times when this ends Jani? Wondering today whether to buy AC when it finally comes out.

Andy,
I uploaded my Porsche setup (see Files page), it's a really handy car with less HP. If you need that I can upload my best lap replay too.

Just driven an hour and no better. I always reckoned to be five to six seconds away from quicker guys. Maybe I'm over driving, will try Porsche on Sunday.

I drove Mclaren M8F when track was introduced. Not driven Porsche yet. What times were you getting Jani? I've been trying to figure out how to set up suspension over the last few months. Never thought I'd be able to drive the Lola as well as this.

No problem Andy :)
I put a few laps into the Porsche and I must say that compared to Ferrari it's pure pleasure for me - included the last turn too :D

Sorry Jani, I updated my time before seeing your message. The Sports cars and Can-Am are my favourite mods. I would have given anything to have gone to Le Mans in 1967. I saw Brian Redman driving the Sid Taylor Lola T70 ( in mod photo for Gem) at Oulton Park.

Sorry Jani, but you can always take a faster chassis! :P Yes last turn you can easily miss apex or bring in too much speed causing you to go wide/off. Little margin for error there, so I take a conservative approach not braking too late, and concentrate on the line and entry speed...
Porsche is easier to drive than Ferrari, but slower of course.

Robert, this morning I started on the track to better your lap time just to come here and see that you have already ran a faster lap in the night :D
Btw last turn is solid horror for me.

Sorry that link is generated from track folder name. Unfortunately the link fails with the new tracks as they are not included on GPLTD..

FYI the link to GPLTrackbase doesn't work. It's the new Watkins Glen 1971 Short, right (watgCA71)? Found the track at SRMZ ;)
